Recount Writing Rubric – Term 1

This is the writing rubric I will be using to assess your child’s writing recounts. Initially, they will write a brief recount about their first week at OIS and I will assess this piece to establish what level they are working at. At the end of the writing unit, I will re-assess their writing using the same rubric to see if they have made progress in their writing.
